Champion Selected as Official
Outfitter of the XFL

Winston-Salem, NC, September 20, 2000 - The XFL kicks off on February 3, 2001, outfitted in Champion designed uniforms that reflect the flair and showmanship of its owners, the World Wrestling Federation Entertainment, Inc., (NMS: WWFE) and NBC. Champion is the official on-field and practicewear outfitter for the league's eight teams and holds the exclusive retail rights for replica jerseys. The XFL retail collection will feature replica jerseys, mesh shorts, tee shirts, and crew sweatshirts and will be available for fans at sporting goods and sports specialty stores, and department stores beginning in November 2000 in time for the key holiday selling season.

The eight teams will be outfitted in jerseys and pants individually designed to highlight the personality of each team. "Champion's reputation for authenticity and decades of experience in football uniform design made it the outfitter of choice," said Basil V. DeVito, Jr. President of the XFL. "The XFL is looking forward to a long relationship with Champion."

The 10-game XFL season begins February 3, 2001, and is followed by two playoff games culminating in The Championship Game on April 21, 2001 on NBC. Each week, NBC will air one key prime time game live every Saturday night at 8 p.m. EST; UPN will broadcast games live every Sunday night at 7 p.m. EST; and a cable television partner will be announced soon. The league begins play with eight teams: the San Francisco Demons, the Chicago Enforcers, the LA Xtreme, the New York/New Jersey Hitmen, the Las Vegas Outlaws, the Orlando Rage, the Birmingham Thunderbolts and the Memphis Maniax.

XFL Teams Up With BIKE for
Official On-Field Helmet Supplier

STAMFORD, CT/KNOXVILLE, TN, Aug. 24/2000 - The XFL today announced a marketing partnership agreement, making BIKE the official on-field helmet supplier. XFL teams will be outfitted with the BIKE PRO-EDITION(TM) football helmet, beginning with training camps and officially debuting at the season opener on February 3, 2001.
