New York, NY - February 6, 2001 -- TNN kicks off its live XFL coverage on Sunday, Feb. 11 (4:00 PM, ET) with a match-up featuring the Birmingham Thunderbolts and the New York/New Jersey Hitmen at Giants Stadium. Former NFL defensive lineman Bob Golic serves as TNN's color analyst for the inaugural season of XFL football. Golic is joined in the broadcast booth by veteran announcer Craig Minervini. Former Detroit Lion Kip Lewis and former Miami Dolphin Lee "The Hawk" Reherman round out TNN's announcing team as sideline reporters.

The colorful and outspoken Golic starred in the late 1970's at Notre Dame, where he was a member of the 1977 national championship team, and was a unanimous All-American linebacker in 1978. Golic spent the next 14 years terrorizing opposing offenses for the New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns and Los Angeles Raiders. Currently, Golic is an analyst for FOX Sports Net's "NFL This Morning" and "Football Today" and hosts "The Bob Golic Show" on Fox Sports Radio Network.

Minervini, the current sports anchor for WTVJ in South Florida, has worked on NBC's broadcasts of Notre Dame Football. Minervini, a Syracuse University graduate, has worked as a play-by-play commentator for ESPN and ESPN2's hockey coverage and for Prime Network's "Toughman" competitions.

Lewis, the son of Minnesota Vikings' offensive coordinator Sherm Lewis, was a standout wide receiver for the University of Arizona before joining the Detroit Lions in 1990. After stints in the WLAF and CFL, Lewis began a broadcasting career as sports anchor in Lansing, Michigan. Recently, Lewis served as a reporter for NBC's coverage of the 2001 Gator Bowl.

Reherman is a former captain of the Cornell football team and spent one year with the Miami Dolphins. Known as "The Hawk" from his appearance on American Gladiators, Reherman's varied television background includes TNN's RollerJam, NBC's 2001 Gator Bowl, ESPN's "Fitness Club," and UPN's "I Dare You - The Ultimate Challenge."
