Re: XFL Summer Showcase Spreadsheet
Thanks for the kind words, Mike. I'm working on part two right now, and what began as a fun exercise is getting excruciating as it's difficult to cut down the approximately 100 players per Showcase to only ten for the column. A good problem for the XFL to have!

It’s not easy pleasing everyone. Players and agents take issue if you don’t include them. When I wrote about the Summer Showcases in Texas and then in New York. I got so much heat for not dedicating paragraphs to players. Took some flack for writing about how DeVante Kincade’s car broke down on his way to Houston. One agent asked me why I focused so much of my time on “that bum”, and not his client.GregParks wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2019 1:13 pm Thanks for the kind words, Mike. I think Trevone Boykin needs to be removed. He tried out yes, but his recent arrest blew any chances he had of signing with the XFL.

If you're talking about the Spreadsheet, the purpose is to show who tried out regardless of whether or not they end up getting offered a contract.

I'm not so much worried about anyone getting their feelings hurt as including people who I find interesting...and keeping that list at ten as I've done for each Showcase gets more and more difficult the more I read up on the players!MikeMitchell wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2019 2:23 pmIt’s not easy pleasing everyone. I wish that I knew how many college players were at the Showcases. I am sure that it’s going to be hidden. Only the safety from WVU became public.MikeMitchell wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 3:03 pm Couple of names to add to the Spreadsheet. Both these specialists worked out in Dallas.

I also added QB Amir Hall of Bowie State, who was not on the roster but according to a post today on XFL Washington's Twitter account, worked out at that Showcase.MikeMitchell wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 3:03 pm Couple of names to add to the Spreadsheet. Both these specialists worked out in Dallas.

I saw that as well. I think more names will unravel as time goes on.GregParks wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 4:18 pmI also added QB Amir Hall of Bowie State, who was not on the roster but according to a post today on XFL Washington's Twitter account, worked out at that Showcase.MikeMitchell wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 3:03 pm Couple of names to add to the Spreadsheet.
