Re: Week 6 predictions: Winners, attendance, viewership
Oh boy! I get to watch and I actually get to see the SeaDragons. Two ABC exposures and no real bad scheduling....outside of Vegas beginning at 4.....but that'll allow more casino dwellers to make their way to Cashman after losing their shirt.
SeaDragons at Guardians
Winner: Seattle Att: 10,874
TV: 897k
Battlehawks at Vipers
Winner: St. Louis Att: 7,132
TV: 352k
(Ok, how many Kawheads are up for a long bus trip to VEGAS BABY!).
Brahmas at Renegades
Winner: Renegades Att: 13, 256
TV: 947k
I just don't think there's a million viewers out there for the XFL this week. Otherwise, there would be.
Roughnecks at Defenders
Winner: Roughnecks Att: 14, 344
TV: 655k
The 'Necks are still reeling from the awful beating they took in Seattle....now they can take down the top team. That'd be enough to restore the positive vibe. Silvers, watch out for those lemons.

Re: Week 6 predictions: Winners, attendance, viewership
That'd still be nice if ABC ends up with more viewers on Sunday opposed vs Sat unopposed. Although as I said previously, lower seeds make for good stories but not so much good TV--Alabama lucked out in the South with 2-3-4 gone, and if SDSU wins even better since that's the game overlapping with most of SA/ARL. So they are getting some help here.
Saturday late(r) will be for hardcores only, although once again the first half overlaps with another 'nice story now come to papa' matchup. Gonzaga/UConn might be the one to cause a mass exodus, especially down at T-Mobile Arena (and LV star Julian Strawther cementing himself as Drew Timme's wingman).
I might drop in some guesses, we'll see

Re: Week 6 predictions: Winners, attendance, viewership
Skipping it again this week just drop some tidbits.
We shouldn't feel too bad about last week's ratings, ESPN's NHL doubleheader went just over 300K (and the XFL actually tied them in the 18-49 demo), so it ain't like anybody's being held back from a monster night.
BHawks/Vipers will basically hold last week's audience, I wouldn't expect anything else. It'll be higher overlapping with the first game I suspect but GU/UConn will murder it. GU/UCLA pulled in six million on CBS (squashing any rah-rah over ABC winning the night overall last week), even with the move over to TBS it'll be at least half that, maybe four mil. Just file it away and be happy to be in the middle of week six.
Sunday Rock is stoked that the U is back in the Elite Eight. You'd have to go back to 2021 when ABC had the women's tournament to shoot for comparable viewership, since last year was slapstick night (apparently the Stonecutters are now on to more than just rigging voting). I'd be happy with around not only a million or more, but as I said two posts above, a higher number on an "opposed" day vs "unopposed". Of course having one of those old Bracketbuster matchups that ESPN used to have (as opposed to Bama/Arizona) in the Elite Eight helps.
Still would rather Monday be on ESPN instead of the Deuce, but they're showing the women so you take what you get. Like to at least get a good number so no one is saying 'We should have aired a spring training game instead'
