I know most are sick of the teases, but Dany Garcia on social media posted pictures of her and Dwayne Johnson traveling to NYC for an apparent XFL ownership meeting update:

The most intriguing thing XFL Twitter has pointed out is that in Garcia's picture, there appears to be a tiny image of the NFL logo peeking out on the cover of the bottom notebook. Not sure what that would mean, if anything.
This is also the second XFL tease in recent times, with the Rock posting something on social media recently mentioning his day involved XFL meetings, and Garcia noting she was having dinner with her XFL RedBird partners. An unusual avalanche of XFL mentions comparatively speaking, which could mean...?

We are, however, getting more, at the very least, 'Hey over here's than the league that's supposed to kick off in about 5-6 months

I am trying to get more details right now. One thing I have learned from a top league executive is they have hired a Chief Marketing Officer, Janet Duch. According to her LinkedIn she has been doing the job since Sep 2020, however this is the first I've heard of it.

Duch was the Guardians team president -- I don't know about the title, but I think we knew she was still working with the new owners.

Yes, and it looks like she has the title of CMO now, as that is what she was referred to me as.
To me, it's just a tidbit of evidence the league is getting serious about 2023.
Frankly, I don't know why the league makes us subsist on scraps of info to stay excited about 2023.

This was the column Mike Mitchell wrote revealing Duch was back as part of the new XFL regime. It was in a "marketing capacity." So the fact that apparently her official title is Chief Marketing Officer is newsworthy-ish, especially as in the above article, the former CMO of the XFL Jordan Schlacter was, at least at the time, part of the skeleton crew working on the "new" XFL.
