So it's not a renewal of the lease to Globe Life Park per se. It "allows the XFL to continue to use space at Globe Life Park for the storage of equipment that has remained on site since the conclusion of the season because of COVID-19" according to XFL News Hub.

Strange. I went back to the article and saw the clarification, which was made by "a source close to the situation," yet the article still cites the actual paperwork filed for "exclusive rights to both locker rooms, the playing surface, and the Capitol One Club." The lease is also apparently for three years. If so, that's an awful long time to simply store equipment on-site.GDAWG wrote: ↑Sat Dec 05, 2020 7:20 pm So it's not a renewal of the lease to Globe Life Park per se. It's not a "rumor," it's a couple of hacks trying to interpret a legal filing. Here's the primary source if anyone more qualified cares to take a crack at it.
