Developmental football property @TheSpringLeague CEO Brian Woods said that the league has scheduled its delayed ’20 championship game for 10:00pm ET on Dec. 15 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. The game is set to air on FS1

Hmm. If you put that out they should follow through. Though the TSL has not officially put that out... just linked to the story.
Let's see what (if) happens.

So it's not a renewal of the lease to Globe Life Park per se. It "allows the XFL to continue to use space at Globe Life Park for the storage of equipment that has remained on site since the conclusion of the season because of COVID-19" according to XFL News Hub.

Strange. I went back to the article and saw the clarification, which was made by "a source close to the situation," yet the article still cites the actual paperwork filed for "exclusive rights to both locker rooms, the playing surface, and the Capitol One Club." The lease is also apparently for three years. If so, that's an awful long time to simply store equipment on-site.

It's not a "rumor," it's a couple of hacks trying to interpret a legal filing. Here's the primary source if anyone more qualified cares to take a crack at it.
