Houston gets a break on their drive when a defender jumps off sides on 3rd down. Nick Holling scores their first TD on that big 50-yard pass play. 3-point try is stopped cold by Seattle, making it 14-6. Man, these insurance commercials suck.

Houston D finally stops the Dragons and gets the ball back with a few minutes left in the 2nd quarter. HUGE pass to Sam Mobley on the sideline. P.J.'s really hitting his stride now and the crowd's heating up. James Butler runs in what looks like a second touchdown before jumping into the stands, but on replay the refs say his shin was down before the ball crossed the plane. Butler tries again on 3rd and goal, gets the TD, and jumps into the stands again. Funny stuff. 2-point conversion to Holley is good and Houston ties it up at 14. Very good game so far.

What does everyone think the attendance is today? The 2nd deck behind the Roughnecks bench appears to be fuller than their first two games. Plus they opened up a few sections in the 2nd deck behind one of the endzones.

Seattle's offense fights back to open up the third quarter. Daniels escapes two rushers but is nearly picked off. Drive stalls, ending in a 47-yard field goal; 17-14 Dragons. We're seeing several injuries in this game, mostly on the visiting team.

On his next drive Walker is PICKED OFF by Marko Myers, who runs it all the way back to the goalline. Daniels QB sneaks it into the endzone. P.J. comes right back with a bomb to Cam Phillips. Butler takes in his second touchdown, but a 3-point attempt is no good. 23-20 Seattle halfway through the third.
