Seems like a logical fit, but the lack of any news regarding him and whether he’s in or out is a bit odd.

Thank God the XFL didn't pick up Maziel. His off field antics would have ruined it for making this a family friendly event. He should stay in the tabloids where he belongs.

It's been years since he has been in the media for anything negative. His troubles from 5 years ago shouldn't prevent him from getting a shot in 2020.

If he truly wanted to be i imagine he'd be on a team right now but when has he ever really come out and said anything about playing for the XFL? He certainly hasn't said anything about not being drafted so it leads me to believe that he really doesn't care one way or the other.
