Twitter (X) post embedding errors

Apparently, due to changes at Twitter (X), tweets are having difficulty displaying embedded within posts.

We have switched off Twitter embedding for now, at least until the problem can be rectified.

At the moment, tweets simply appear as a link to the tweet. (As in the past)

The issue was at Twitter (X) and it seems they have resolved things on their end. Tweet embedding is working again.

We will continue to monitor this situation.

It seems difficult to keep up with changes at "X". However, the board has made made more recent changes that should allow the successful embedding of tweets that use the "x.com" hostname.
