Why are the Renegades, Panthers, and the Showboats having such a hard time getting people to attend games?

Heck the only Devils games that sellout are when they host the Flyers or rangers and their fans take over. Midweek Devils games can easily be had for $20 on the secondary market

Don't really like Football?  Its the # 1 sport by far... of course NFL and CFB dominate - that's what's on TV... what else is there?  Until now.

If you enjoy and follow NFL and NCAA only for ND, Michigan, Colorado( now only because of Sanders) Ohio State , Texas and the others, and dont't give a chance to Spring Football , CFL, NCAA FCS or Indoor Leagues, you don't like football, you like the big show

put a NHL team on any random US City where nobody plays hockey and you will have fullhouse all games even if they lost
Like Phoenix ?  Seattle is even losing interest already.  No one is comparing a brand new league and team in a city to an established league over 100 years old (NHL).

Having said that UFL viewership was at or better than NHL (single channel) this past weekend.
ok, you're right, I exaggerated about field hockey, but still, with respect to football people like the big show, thousands of Canadians roll huge distances and spend a lot of money to go to NFL games, and are not able to go see their local CFL team. The same for thso UFL teams
