This is a very good hire by Jim Zorn.

Yet another AAF executive/coach makes their way into The XFL. I am losing track at this point.

He was the director of scouting for the ENTIRE AAF. Great hire by Jim Zorn!

Lol, That's every other response right now.. The AAF didn't release their logos and names till September. Just for the record. The XFL is not waiting till September. We know that.

Business does pick up, once that finally gets in place. We have this dead period right now. Where the coaching staffs are being completed before the mad rush that is going to be June and July for the entire league. They are so busy right now behind the scenes, but as fans, what we want is those damn team names and logos.

I believe we will know the names, logos and colors by the time NFL teams have training camps.

Anyway, this is a good hire.

It's a great hire. Mid-June seems to be the target date for the release of names, colors, logos, etc.

The XFL makes the hire official on Twitter. Just another in a long line of quality hires by the league.

Unsurprisingly, one of the reactions on Twitter is "how about a team name?"

The trouble maker in me wants to troll fans and report that the XFL has decided to go without team nicknames. Every XFL team will just have the city they play in on their jerseys. League will only announce team colors.

Those people really don't care about who gets hired on the various staffs. As soon as June Jones was hired people are like "good, so now can we get team colors and names?" They are starting to get a bit impatient.
