Steve Spurrier 'interested' in coaching Orlando's next pro football team — and maybe Tebow will be QB
http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/f ... story.html
Spurrier’s interest in the AAF is certainly intriguing considering there are actually two new pro football leagues likely competing to put franchises in Orlando. It’s no secret that Orlando is a prime market for any new pro football league, considering its status as the biggest market in America without an NFL team.

Could it be that the ultra-popular Spurrier is being used as a bargaining chip to get Orlando to hitch its wagon to the AAF (scheduled to kick off in 2019) instead of WWE founder Vince McMahon’s reincarnation of the XFL (scheduled to kick off in 2020)?

It's just a matter of WWE releasing the rights to the logos/names. Why that wasn't done first.... who knows. But it doesn't look good for that fact to be revealed.

Though, the AAF's twitter presence is a bit lacking. The few number of retweets or likes to any of their announcements, etc, aren't great. Interesting announcing on a CBS branded show rather than,... I don't know, IN THE CITY YOU'RE PUTTING A TEAM.
