Admittedly the rumors are pointing to the XFL not having a major role in the merged league, especially earmarked by the XFL staff that are leaving the league. Most on this board don't want to hear that.

In listening to the XFLINSIDERPODCAST last night, the guest "Brett Tierce" had a good rant about the XFL's failures. Now, this is a man who is a genuine XFL fan, and he was clearly disappointed in how the XFL (a good league) was purchased out of bankruptcy and then slowly changed into something fans no longer wanted. It was a rant, but to me it was a valid point from a genuine fan.

People need to share their viewpoints. When the XFL officially goes away you will probably hear it from me.

Last I heard Pearson had workouts with seven NFL teams and never signed. It has to be disappointing for Pearson to read that his current XFL team may no longer exist. Can I assume the league isn't telling him anything?

Pearson could still sign with an NFL team seeing as how injuries pile up among all 32 teams on a weekly basis.

There's a difference between legitimate points and blatant lying to score points.

His thread was titled "When the XFL folds" FFS. That clearly didn't happen or else the USFL would have waited them out.

I really hope it is a merger 50-50 or not (ownership wise). Spring FB needs investors and XFL did have success esp in those cities mentioned (StL, DC, AR, SA). Plus they are logical markets. RBC capital's $$ matched with Fox $ and TV would be a stronger position and better chance for spring FB success. That assumes RBC holds for 3-4 yrs
