XFL to hold IFL player combine

As part of the XFL's partnership with the IFL, the XFL will hold an IFL-exclusive player combine on August 4 in Nevada, coinciding with the IFL Championship weekend.

Hopefully that hire is made - and announced - at some point this month. The market is the market right now, it's not going to change over the next few weeks and months with college and NFL staffs already set for the upcoming season. There's no reason they can't hire someone in that time-frame.

I still can't get around that it's called the IFL National Championship. There had to have been some legal blocks with United Bowl, otherwise

Long live the Massachusetts Pirates, the last United Bowl champions (with a good chunk of XFL20s).
