XFL crystal ball: USA Today

Post by laxtreme56 »

Pretty cool USA Today video discussing the XFL. Both hosts were knowledgeable and seemed to be big fans of the game. They thought the overall season and title game ratings were a success. Somewhat skeptical on 2 leagues making it long-term and mentioned there's only so many qualified football players fans will invest in watching. Pretty fair and balanced overall.

Nice piece about the XFL, and a lot of pondering on how the USFL will affect the league… but just pondering. The crystal ball seems cloudy on this. 😀

Thanks for sharing.

To have an uncertain, "cloudy" future is certainly an improvement over the "clearly doomed to fail in a couple years" to which we've become accustomed the last couple of decades.

I will take cloudy at this point. The good news is there are no signs that the league will stop operating as we have seen in past seasons, or in other leagues making an attempt at Spring Football. With the XFL, it seems we are onward we go to 2024. Keep the clouds away until 2025 or further.
