Nah, that's a bad number to me, especially with the expectations people had of what San Antonio could draw this year.

Agreed, really bad for a market that was being counted on to pull its weight.

I thought for sure, San Antonio would sell out the lower bowl, with the possibility of the upper bowl opening.

What about starting Jawon Pass? Yes if Orlando drops a QB - its likely Flowers but maybe its Lynch?
Is either one in ORL an improvement, though? Lynch has flopped everywhere he plays and Flowers has a flimsy record. If they are willing to part with Dormady, maybe, but I doubt it.

Maybe they can get the rights to Benkert and beg him to step in.

Sinnett was a huge improvement over Coan and his injury sets the Brahmas way back.

What about Hundley at the Vipers? Is the highest paid player going to stay a bench warmer? SA can trade 1/2 def guys that Vegas needs. Is it a stretch ? Yes but from a league and team point it makes some sense.

Based on his recent appearance on a podcast with Brandon Perna and Tom Grossi, him coming back to play seems unlikely.

A lot of people didn’t estimate this team to be 1-4 to be fair. Look at the Spurs, they’ve been dropping a lot over the last few years where it’s constantly been rough for them.

Worst thing for a new market is a bad team, don’t really know why the XFL didn’t think about this with SA, at least giving them an established QB like Silvers, Ta’amu or Perez that have proven to be somewhat consistent.

We have 4 weeks left, at this point SA’s only option is promoting Jawon Pass or hopefully Sinnett is good for next week.

There’s a lot of experienced FA QB’s, Garrett Gilbert, Jeff Driskel, Josh Johnson, Brett Rypien. All these QB’s would take a decent paycheck but there’s so little time in the season left it’s kind of redundant

Guess they figured on a mix of experience and young up-and-comers, although don't know what the thinking was that Coan was one of the latter. To be fair, seems like the Roughnecks D broke him and he's been languishing since--not that he was great vs STL or ORL, but acceptable.

It’s not unheard of - Baker Mayfield played for the Rams two days after being claimed off waivers. I doubt SA’s playbook is so complicated someone, especially a veteran, couldn’t come in and learn it quickly.
