Guardians release QB Quinten Dormady

Drew Lock's going to be available next week, I'm thinking more about Vegas.

There are names out there like Carson Strong, Khalil Tate, Brian Lewerke, Mitch Kidd (who they should have brought back), Anthony Gordon, Roland Rivers, Brandon Peters and Clayton Thorson. So what is the reason none of these guys are not in the XFL? I would have thought that Strong would have been of interest to the XFL after the Cardinals released him. Tate and Strong were one of several QB's who never signed with the XFL following the Jordan Palmer minicamps. One of them, Aqeel Glass signed with the USFL.

So why haven't any of those guys signed with the XFL? Does the XFL know something about any of these guys that we don't? Now some could be on the USFL radar, like Rivers, but the USFL is almost full at QB with a few spots left.

Interest has to be a two-way street. Strong and Benkert were both throwing QBs at the NFL Combine last week, so they may look at that as their way back into the NFL. Strong's knee might be an issue for teams.

What's next? Is there punishment for those who played a part in it getting this far, as Mark alluded to?

What about Dormady? Can he coexist with others in Orlando after all this? Or might a trade be in the offing?

Francois is nursing a concussion so they may be able to stash him on IR.

Hopefully the league doesn't force the decision on what to do with him and if OG wants him out they can cut him. Then again if they kiss and make up, he may stay. But either way 4 qbs not likely for long.
