TSN+

Post by KJE »

Apologies if this has been announced, but I just saw XFL can be seen in Canada on TSN+, TSN's new streaming service.

TSN.ca/tsn+

Disappointing for me but it's better than nothing.

I think they had all four Week 1 games on TV and then just one or two per week until it ended. I'm not sure if TSN Direct was up and running then or not.

All 2020 games were on the TSN app, with most on one of the TSN channels (TSN1 to TSN5)

From what I see the XFL will only be on the App in 2023, but you can probably access TSN plus via your smart TV. Even my crappy FireTV has the TSN app now.

Well if you wanna watch games in Canada it's pretty simple go buy a IPTV box and you get all US Channels to watch games...no need for this streaming service

Plus ABC is widely available up there anyway. Detroit, Buffalo, and a few other northern cities have over-the-air signals that penetrate well into the populated areas and most American broadcast networks are available on Canadian cable systems anyway.

You might actually benefit from NOT having a dedicated Canadian partner because you won't have annoying simsubbing or the awkward interruptions it causes.

TSN streaming will insert its own commercials I am sure. I can’t recall this being an issue in 2020, as I watched all twenty games on TSN streaming and it was great. Hopefully they don’t muck it up this time around.
