So Bryan Scott didn't sign a two year contract with the USFL?

I see him still listed as a QB for the Generals. Since he wasn't signed and released by an NFL team not sure how would be there, unless the USFL didn't sign his option year and he's a free agent?

He might have asked for a release from his contract since he wasn't going to upstage Case Cookus.

But if the option year wasn't a thing until midseason he might be a free agent.

Which would possibly make him a modern day Pete Gogolak

Yeah I edited it. The video went way too quickly.

Again if these 6 are true and it looks like they are, I don't know how to react. I never even heard of Drew Plitt until he was released by the Bengals last month.

The way it was originally stated was the option year was baked into the original contract, but the NFL release to Free Agency was changed in the mid-year contract change. At least that's how its been explained. But Only if the USFL exercised the option or didn't drop Scott when he was injured.

Again he's still listed on the USFL Star's roster.

Bryan Scott may not be the last USFL QB to jump to the XFL, as Luis Perez, Kyle Sloter and KJ Costello still have not returned to the USFL, however Perez and Sloter might want to re-sign with the USFL with their respective teams to add some stability in their careers.
