He'll find a backup job somewhere in the NFL in 2023.

Without a doubt. He earned his keep in the NFL, but was really hoping he'd bring the Commanders to the playoffs. They may still sneak in at the #7 spot, but I think Washington moves on from Wentz and Heineke after this season.

Which means the team who snags the last wildcard will have either a former XFL player or signee

Heinicke (WAS)
Godwin Igwebuike (SEA)
Jack Fox (DET)

That benching of Heinicke isn't looking so good...Wentz with three picks today.

Ron gets one more year if there's an ownership change, because that won't happen until March.

Godwin Igwebuike didn't do much, but returned the opening kickoff 24 yards before Ken Walker went 60 on the first play of the game. He also had all four touches on the final series as the Hawks are still alive (interestingly his current team will eliminate his 2021 team with a win, yet they also need his former team to win, which is why in all likelihood they both go at 4:25 Sun to prevent an eliminated Lions team from suddenly going with Nate Sudfeld)

Even worse, he actually admitted in the postgame he didn't know the FTFKARS could be eliminated with a loss, that's Jim Zorn-level bad.

Riviera is a pompous ass - no surprise, over rated. Starts Wentz the biggest joke in NFL last 8 yrs.

Called that wrong but kinda makes sense, Lions/Packers does become a win-and-in game if Hawks lose, and nothing else is that appealing--even Titans/Jags, which they kinda did split the baby by giving it to (presumably) Buck/Aikman. Besides I think Dan Campbell would probably go out of his way to make sure anybody who lays down never plays in the NFL again (a guy next year probably mysteriously gets IRd in the preseason and is out for the year).
