Not sure if he's pro material, as much as it was a favor to Josh Allen to give a former teammate and friend a job.

Whatever the case, Gentry was signed back onto Buffalo’s practice squad today.

Should move him back to safety, Josh Jones sucks. But Homer, their best pass protector, got bad ribs and Josh Johnson (RB) is on IR so I get it. Good intel for Sunday too :D

Speaking of, would Iggy be the first to play for a team in the XFL (either version) then move on to their same city NFL counterparts?

C Jon Toth played with the Defenders and with the Commanders. Storm Norton played for the Wildcats and now with the Chargers in LA. That's off the top of my head.

That's right, for some reason the only one I could think of was Nelson Spruce, who actually did the LA trifecta (even though he never made it to the season with the Chargers).

There's a chance that Josh Johnson will get a callup soon (if not tomorrow) going by recent history.

Strange as it sounds, JJ would be tied for third oldest QB in the league in terms of draft class (w Flacco, Ryan, and Chad Henne) when that happens.
