Surprised Vince has time for this seeing as though he's quite hands on with his WWE shows.

I wonder if Luck's lawyers took that into account before they filed suit for $23M. Seems pretty inconsiderate.

Well considering this one was from the last of the Thunderdome era (I don't think he was as involved in those) this isn't as surprising

He was hands on in the Thunderdome era as well. He's 100% involved in every aspect of WWE.

That site has all kinds of interesting info. Am I just behind the times, or was this the first time Luck's contract, the VM personal guaranty, etc. was made public?

It looks like based on various judge rulings the case now comes down to whether signing Antonio Callaway constituted a breach of contract.

Basically it looks like the timeline was this
-Jan 18th - in discussing players, VM specifically tells Luck not to sign Martavis Bryant to his NFL substance abuse suspensions, and Levern Jacobs because of sexual assault complaints.
-Jan 23rd - Luck signs Callaway
-Jan 28th -VM tells Luck to cut Callaway
-Jan 29th - Luck talks to Coach Trestman in the morning, Callaway still practices that day, hurts his leg, is put on IR. Now he can't be cut and XFL has to pay workman's comp and can't be cut, thus no way (so says VM's lawyers) for Luck to "cure" his breach of contract.
-April 9th - Luck officially terminated
-April 11th - League declares bankruptcy

I'll be curious to hear in trial why in the world Luck would think signing Callaway was a good idea if Bryant was off the table for not even committing any crimes. Also curious if VM still would've canned him if they reasonably thought they were coming back for year 2.
