Rock is not going to just up and ditch XFL2.0 simply by changing the logo and a few markets. There's too much linking the two, for instance Titan Games was essentially the same victim: growing success that got stunted by restrictions and logistical problems involved--filming for season three would have taken place right after the XFL sale.

Now if I had one worry, it's been eased simply by the fact things are happening (we're talking people, jobs, uprooting, and yes money involved) to the point he'll severely damage his career if it ends up nothing more than a promo stunt.

This argument still exists that the USFL/XFL aren't necessary cause of NIL (yet early entries and the transfer portal still exist and will continue to), maybe the XFL can be the one to use it to their advantage. What the JBA could have been if Lavar Ball had put in any real work instead of just showcasing his brand and his boys.

USFL and XFL aren’t there to do what NIL has done. They want some college guys and may get them because NIL doesn’t really pay small school guys but the last wave of signings the USFL made is a good showcase as to what they’re about, giving guys who havent gotten a chance on a national stage a shot as well as providing opportunities to those who need to refine their game

We just don't know yet what the ownership structure is, and Rock's real role. He's clearly the front man but how much does he really own? What Money has he invested. There's no transparency on that, financing and the Mieda deal. RBC has never run a biz, they are a sports investment house. So this is all going to be interesting.

As far as older coaches - Wade Phillips is 75 about the same as Spurrier. And I like the hire, he's some one that helps bring real HC/Def coaching experience.

As far as NIL - one this beyond the point made above is NIL only applies to those in College. Once you graduate - your out.

Redbird looks like they're about to acquire one of the most popular Serie A teams. These guys don't seem afraid to spend money
