IF this news is true, it's really good news for the league. Jones's offenses are always fun to watch and they provide something outside of the ordinary. As others have mentioned before, having a wide range of offensive styles and philosophies would be in the best interest of the league.

At this point in his career, Jones might prefer to just run the offense and call plays rather than dealing with all the admin stuff. Who knows?

Considering he was recently angling for the Hawaii head coaching job, that would be surprising. But not out of the realm of possibility.
