Last full week of pro days started with CJ Cavazos at Tennessee State in the morning: https://twitter.com/cjcXFL/status/1508485083623272449 and Vanderbilt in the afternoon: https://twitter.com/cjcXFL/status/1508521983839027203

David Dykeman double-dipped as well, attending North Carolina https://twitter.com/DDykemanXFL/status/ ... 7460549632, then Duke https://twitter.com/DDykemanXFL/status/ ... 1781429250.

Interesting that neither man is stationed in Florida for the Florida-Florida State-Miami loop on M, T, W this week. Could be Whaley there perhaps.

I'm just surprised that the XFL had Whaley at UW (while the U was the same day) considering the face of the league at the moment not only is Miami but also played in the Whammy in Miami.

Plus outside of Ryan Bowman (Shane's bro) seems like UM would have more immediate XFL prospects. And while Manny Diaz was a mere disappointment, Jimmy Lake was next-level disaster. I hardly think if you're going to be player-friendly you'd go somewhere coming off that wreck.

It's definitely interesting to see where the XFL is "allocating their resources," so to speak, and where they're not. As I said a couple posts above, I'm certainly surprised as well that they didn't send any reps to the Florida loop of workouts this week.

And while Lake was in the wrong in what got him fired, I'm not sure what that has to do with visiting Washington and being player-friendly: Why punish the players and not attend THEIR workouts for the sins of the coach?

I was referring more to the overall season-long debacle than just one incident, but then again UW being what they were could cause teams to move off some guys, Cade Otton for instance has drawn at least one Zach Ertz comp.

Usually it's not good draft practice to take guys out of college according to the team's W/L record but we know differently. Hell the entire Husky secondary was drafted after they went to the Peach Bowl and Budda Baker is the only Pro Bowler
(though taking into account Sidney Jones' achilles tear). Colorado, who played UW in the Pac 12 title game, as well and all four of those guys range from journeyman to barely hanging in the league. On the flip side, we've seen Miami, Notre Dame, and USC turned away from cause the team was down.

So this might actually turn out to be something.
