Nice list. I’ll have to listen to the podcast and hear why it’s topped by Omaha.

Seems like he likes the support for Omaha and is rewarding them for it. Here is a tweet from last week re #1 Omaha:

They also played some voice mail from Portland and Tacoma. It would be great if other cities/areas would do the same.
Go to about 1:08:00 for the messages and rankings. https://soundcloud.com/user-870465142/e ... #t=1:08:00

Re: Ep 1 The XFL Awakens
I’ve got nothing against Omaha. I am thinking that some people might be partial to that location, and they think by keeping on saying it is high on the location list the XFL might take notice. Might be a recipe for disappointment.

Re: Ep 1 The XFL Awakens
No team outside of the top 50 tv markets, which you can google, will get a team. Places like Omaha may sound nice, but just do not have the people needed. I think Texas will get a team. likely between San Antonio or Austin.
Rank Metropolitan Market Regions / Areas. they will need to disperse themselves regionally and have a facility that suits their playing needs. i strongly thing the markets bolded are the most likely.
New York - either here or Hartford is a lock. there will be a team in the northeast.
Los Angeles
Chicago
Philadelphia
Dallas-Ft. Worth
San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose - lock they did very well here before. and with a better product and facilities available they will almost certainly be back.
Boston
Atlanta
Washington, DC - a bit saturated, but has an available stadium of proper size in a growing area.
Houston
Detroit
Phoenix
Tampa-St. Petersburg
Seattle-Tacoma
Minneapolis-St. Paul
Miami-Ft.Lauderdale
Cleveland-Akron
Denver
Orlando-Daytona Beach-Melbourne - top 20 area without a team other than basektball. should be a dunk, plus region needs at least 1 team
Sacramento-Stockton-Modesto
St. Louis- i am just dubious as the stadium is really too big for what they will draw and teams leave for a reason
Portland, OR - love this area. growing, people are passionate. i am not sure if they have a facility that fits the need. the Timbers play in a stadium half the size of what Vince will want.
Pittsburgh
Charlotte, NC
Indianapolis
Baltimore
Raleigh-Durham
San Diego - can and deserves a look. may be a numbers game with norther CA likely to have a team to start.
Nashville
Hartford-New Haven-either here or NY unless they shaft Ohio
Kansas City
Columbus, OH- deserves a team and has a facility. though i think OSU is more likely than where Crew play due to size.
Salt Lake City - love this location too, limited other teams and i think the conservative area will buy into this product. they also have a nice stadium here.
Cincinnati
Milwaukee - if they can use the indoor stadium it is worth a look.
Greenville-Spartanburg-Asheville-Anderson
San Antonio
West Palm Beach-Ft. Pierce
Grand Rapids-Kalamazoo-Battle Creek
Birmingham - were here before. not sure if they will come back to start with another city in region being larger and a likely lock. may need to wait for expansion
Harrisburg-Lancaster-Lebanon-York
Las Vegas
Norfolk-Portsmouth-Newport News
Albuquerque-Santa Fe
Oklahoma City - have the facility and the desire for a team.
Greensboro-High Point-Winston-Salem
Jacksonville, FL
Memphis
Austin - if no in San Antonio.
Louisville
