CFLPA Warns Players
The CFLPA has sent a warning to players regarding the uncertainty of the upcoming CFL season, as shared by the UFPA Twitter account, the same folks who were admonished for trying to warn players two weeks back.

Not to rehash this, but they didn't catch heat for saying this season might not start on time, they caught heat for saying there was a "strong likelihood" that this season AND NEXT was going to be canceled. They have a long, long way to go to being vindicated.MarkNelson wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 2:05 pmThe CFLPA has sent a warning to players regarding the uncertainty of the upcoming CFL season, as shared by the UFPA Twitter account, the same folks who were admonished for trying to warn players two weeks back.

Re: CFLPA Warns Players
In the end it was worded wrong?
UFPA is working for players, many without representation. If they screwed up it was for the best intention.

It was a statement. What else is there other than the wording?

Re: CFLPA Warns Players
I mean, if you want to say it was an honest mistake, that's fine, but you just brought it up as though this CFLPA statement vindicates the UFPA's statement. And I'm just pointing out that the original UFPA statement that got everyone riled up was orders of magnitude different.

Many players have other jobs, or families they need to think of when they go to Canada and play ball. They need a date to make plans. With vaccines working the league needs to strap on a set and commit to a schedule. Even if vaccines not perfect, other leagues are playing with safety controls. This league can do the same. Right?
Fan of the XFL from the beginning. You may remember me from the original XFLboard.

This is the first CFLPA statemenet on the issue. The other statement was from another PA.
