Big miscalculation by XFL 2.0. It was always so weird to me that they went with Oilers-ish logos but not Columbia blue. They could have used the colors and slapped an H on the helmet and called it a day.
And for XFL 3.0, the entire league pretty much only consists of the logos and name. And now one is gone.

There is no league as you alluded to above. There is logos and names less 2 logos.Tank55 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 5:31 pm https://twitter.com/XFLNewsHub/status/1 ... 8438455296

I'll keep saying it they needed to play this year to stay relevant.

I think a lot of us who thought Luck did his homework whiffed on that one, as did he. And this is a major own goal in his suit should Vince's team choose to run with it.Tank55 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 5:31 pm https://twitter.com/XFLNewsHub/status/1 ... 8438455296

That door slamming shut is the Pac 12 ("Sorry we'd rather hire the guy Mark Few made into somebody, at least he didn't almost get anyone legally killed")

FYI, no league statement on this. I have asked.
You’d think the league would have an official statement on losing team branding for Houston.

Well... it makes sense. Why would the league bring any media attention to itself ? They clearly are avoiding it in the USA.MarkNelson wrote: ↑Fri Apr 09, 2021 9:03 am FYI, no league statement on this. I have asked.

If they put out a statement the next question is "when do you plan on playing" since they apparently have no plans to return to the field at this time, why bring that scrutiny upon themselves?
Obviously the American media has no faith in the XFL either or they'd be asking the league about it and their other plans (CFL, 2022, etc...).
While the XFL fades into obscurity the tiny TSL is getting articles on PFT and ESPN.
