The Earthquakes own their own stadium, they might be hesitant to host any football.

Levi's Stadium is smaller than the stadiums that New York and Seattle played in, so it's not impossible.
Seattle has more of a hardcore fanbase than San Jose has had historically and I'm not sure Oakland fans want to travel down to San Jose area for an XFL game. It'd be a tough ask to try and fill that out. I see no reason why the Earthquakes wouldn't want to make some money as long as the game schedule doesn't conflict with theirs..but hey maybe they aren't interested who's to say that's just speculation. As far as NY they need to get out of MetLife immediately and move to RedBull Arena that was the biggest mistake the XFL made
Not all football fans in the Bay Area are Raiders fans. There are plenty of 49ers fans who won't go to San Jose.
Well about that...there are actually a load of 49ers fans in San Jose now so that's a big part of why the move has been successful

As for another city....Chicago. There has been zero evidence that the XFL would succeed there the second time. The WFL, USFL and XFL 1.0 have all failed in Chicago. So what would make a return to Chicago different?

Also, I don't think the XFL should expand for at least 3-5 years, if they make it that far. Stabilize the 8 teams first for 3-5 years and then consider expansion.

The stadium is literally a parking lot across from the old qualcomm stadium lot and the xfl has already worked with other universities before like u of h
That's UH though, and it's not like we're talking NRG Stadium. Being that Aztec Stadium essentially replaces SDCCU Stadium as basically San Diego's stadium (the Padres might literally take the league reps hostage and throw them off the Coronado bridge if they even suggested using Petco Park for football) that gives SDSU more leverage.

Doubt it's worth it.
With all due respect: If you think the XFL can't wield it's ability to draw to convince sdsu to let them play their games there then you are basically saying you have no faith in the future of the league. That stadium is gonna sit empty for months and they have nothing to lose making money off XFL revenue if they arrange a deal
SDSU owns it, it's hardly going to sit there empty. Also keep in mind that SDSU will be using it for spring ball--which came up in the AAF as Salt Lake was originally set to end their season on a Friday with Utah's spring game the next day. Plus what else? Commencement, track and field I would imagine.

And incidentally SDSU does have a campus in Mission Valley so it is an on-campus stadium of sorts, just not the main one.

What are they gonna use it for when there's no football? It's too big for college soccer. There's only so many concerts they can have. They aren't going to host track and field at a stadium without a running track, which it will not have a running track, we know this much. Also SDSU already has a track facility. There's only so many commencements you can host. The XFL can just schedule a sunday game or an away game to avoid spring football problems. The stadium plan literally calls on the stadium being able to hold a pro soccer team and yet you're telling me they wouldn't want an XFL team there.
