Yes and I'm quite annoyed that the hyperbole is off the rails. But we have a Georgia runoff to scare for now - and again all these rules were meant to be broken by the rule makers, glad they are getting caught. Things spiked after halloween/street celebrations.

Seriously, we wouldn’t want to flag the veracity of posts the way Twitter does. I don’t believe that is what this site is about.
This site should not have to do that. But, I understand your concerns, and I think your point was made.
Whenever the discussion moves even close to the political arena it tends to devolve into a futile disagreement. Covid response is one of these realms now. People have their opinions, and they’ll stick to them, no matter how many links to whatever website are posted.
Anyways, this particular thread discussion has gone beyond the original topic... usually a sign that the discussion has run its course.

Good listen, thank you for linking. One of the hosts made a good point -- this is exactly why Kenneth Farrow is trying to put together the UFPA.
Woods blames COVID and throws the players under the bus for lack of COVID compliance. Super weak, IMO. No one is saying this is easy or cheap, but if you're going to do it, do it right. If you can't afford to do it right, don't do it. Basketball is obviously a fraction of the personnel, but TBT pulled this off months ago by developing sound rules and then following through.
Loved the part where he claimed he only watched "20 seconds" of the video that started this thread, but also said it was all lies.
Woods still hoping to play the 12/2 championship. Says the league is covering the hotel bill of any players still quarantining in hotels.
Says that the vision is to make the league a true "D League." Plans to come back bigger and better in the spring, waiting for FOX to tell them when they want to start -- could be anywhere from February to April.
Kudos to the podcast for landing the Woods interview and asking some semi-uncomfortable questions. It wasn't Barbara Walters, but surely those guys didn't start the podcast to do investigative journalism. And kudos to Woods for coming on and answering semi-uncomfortable questions on a fan podcast.

Kudos to XFL Markcast for interviewing Woods. I am actually surprised he agreed to it, so in that respect Kudos to him for agreeing to be interviewed.
That being said, I tend to not believe much of what Woods says.

The podcast guys are more professional than the pros. great job. Woods answers were quite believable. This is a minor league and I think they did fine with Covid. Being in the working world, this chatter happens everywhere on every topic - everyone is not 100% happy anywhere. Even NFL. Difference is they get a big check and wont risk it, getting no pay makes talking up easier. Rodger Badell is way more full of s##t.
