Citadel gets waiver for 12th game, will play Furman
The Citadel will now host the Furman Paladins in Charleston, S.C., on April 10 for their eighth SoCon game of the season. The addition of that game forced five other games to change dates. Below are the details of those changes:

ETSU at The Citadel moved from April 3 to March 20.
The Citadel at Wofford moved from March 20 to April 3.
Furman at VMI moved from March 27 to Feb. 27.
VMI at Wofford moved from April 3 to March 27.
ETSU at VMI moved from Feb. 27 to April 3.
Game times and television designations will be determined and announced at a later date. All nine schools’ home games will air on either ESPN3 or ESPN+ if not selected for national or regional broadcast.

Looks like they did back off the staggered plan for some schools to play games in late Jan/early Feb and went the standard "3-1-3-1" setup. Plus it's 12 teams this year (Sac State opted out).

Eastern's gonna be lit with football being ranked in the top 20 and basketball likely to be fighting for another reg season title.

New Mexico State adds another home game against Dixie State on 3/6. NMSU is effectively playing as an FCS independent this year, which is pretty funny.

Seeing that UNM is probably going to end up playing all their games on the road cause of restrictions that's probably the only way NMSU could get any.

NCAA should let them play a full schedule and be eligible for the playoffs.

Shedeur Sanders commits to Jackson State (SWAC)
ESPN 300 quarterback Shedeur Sanders flipped his commitment from FAU to Jackson State University, where his dad, Deion Sanders, is the head coach.
He made that decision official on Friday and is now the highest-ranked prospect Jackson State has ever had, and he's the only ESPN 300 prospect to commit to the HBCU. Sanders is the No. 60-ranked recruit overall, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound quarterback from Trinity Christian School in Cedar Hill, Texas.
Jackson State also got a commitment from three-star athlete Herman Smith on Friday; he had previously been committed to San Diego State. He's a 5-11, 190-pound prospect from Lincoln High School in Lincoln, California, and is likely a defensive back at the next level.

The program has added five total commitments since Deion Sanders was hired, including Shedeur, Smith and three-star defensive tackle Braezhon Ross.

J-State's season opener is actually on a Sun (2/21) vs Edward Waters. I think this pretty much guarantees an ESPN(2) slot.

Not to rub in any salt or anything............😡

I imagine these recruits won't be eligible until the Fall 2021 season, but still pretty excited the Deion show this spring.
