Re: Spring 2021 FCS: Scouting for the next Donald Parham
Villanova just scored on one of the more ridiculous plays you'll ever see. From the one yard line, the quarterback is scrambling to his right and gets tripped. As he falls face first, he throws the ball behind his back to his tight end, who is moving in the same direction as him. Touchdown.
The written description doesn't do it justice -- it sort of looks like a Madden glitch, where you hit the pass button as you're being tackled and the game defies physics to throw a perfect pass. I'll share a video when it hits Twitter.
Touchdown cuts the lead to 27-20. Delaware trying to run out the clock with 2:56 left now.

That sorcery is not enough: Delaware is in victory formation. They will share the CAA Championship with the JMU-Richmond winner.

USD loses to Valpo, so no controversy. First time they lose two games in conference since 2010
This is gonna be an interesting turnaround for some of these prospects who have a shot to get picked two weeks from today (sans opt-outs), also remember they have the option of going back. Christian Elliss (brother is Kaden, father is Pro Bowl DT and current UI defensive line coach Luther) comes to mind. He's not playing today so he'll end the spring with 40 tackles.

And South Dakota State wins the Dakota Marker 27-17 over North Dakota State, the Bison's first home loss in the regular season since..........SDSU in 2016
Like San Diego, first time with two conference losses since 2010

Final bracketology:
https://www.collegesportsmadness.com/fc ... acketology
http://nobowls.com
https://www.dratings.com/predictor/ncaa ... ojections/
Can't really argue with any of these.
Eastern at either UND, SDSU, or possibly even Weber is probably a lock. It'll actually be their first road playoff game (not counting 2010 or 2018 CGs) since 2009 with Matt Nichols believe it or not.

Five for the MVFC Just better hope they don't turn into the Big Ten
Had USD not lost at Valpo, they might have taken an at-large, meaning they'll miss the playoffs for the first time since 2015
EWU/NDSU is, historically, the best matchup on paper. Love the upset, but I can't see it. Besides the last time Eastern went on the road in the playoffs was the last time NDSU lost two straight at home (they were 3-8).
