Isn't a blowout but SHSU's definitely keeping them at bay, setting up a second straight ex-title tilt clash next week with NDSU the one traveling for the first time since 2010.

If I had an idea how Eastern could stop the run I'd be more bullish on an upset. Mitchell Johnson, Anthany Smith, and Tre Weed are all great players (each all-BSC), unfortunately they're all DBs. And even in the best case we get 2016 redux (OT shootout the other time Eastern played at the Fargodome) they're not consistent enough on offense to keep up--still unbelievable that G2's first two college starts were upsetting Wazzu and nearly taking NDSU down.

Monmouth parents crossed over into the Sam Houston section, and now other Sam Houston fans are concentrating in the section for support. Police is stationed in between. Best XFL game of 2021.

Damn, it's only a six-point game too. Kats looking ahead?

Although after 2004 and 2009 I will shed no tears if it happens

Wow that's close, maybe SHSU isn't such the shoo-in after all

This reminded me of Eastern and Towson on the red turf in 2013. Eastern should have just flat buried them instead let Towson hang around, had a chance to put it away and go play NDSU but VA overthrew Cooper Kupp (would have either been a TD or at the very least first down game over) and Towson took over, came down and won 35-31

I think the Valley's winning this again, whether it's NDSU, SDSU, or UND. Hell they had coaches campaigning for them to get into the playoffs even after the field was announced, so it's hard to imagine with that level of obsession they'll allow their teams to just zombie through like that

Great finish, really glad I came and didn't leave early. Regret making fun of that lady's sun burn; karma is swift.

Big opening drive for Eastern, ends in a Tamarick Pierce TD. Big pass from EB to Andrew Boston on third and 5 for 47, then a nice screen to Efton Chism down to the 3.
