Brilliant move by NFL to delay only a day or 2 - ie the Titans Pitt game. WOW a whole 1 or 2 day delay ! That's all it takes to stop the covid! That's all you need to know about covid.
The RESULT: One way they get another PRIME time Monday game the other a Tuesday PRIMETIME alone game!
Use covid to justify a move to Prime Time and more TV $$$ - Brilliant!

MLB would have been stupid to shut down, bottom line is NO ONE get 'ill' from the breakout and it quickly passed . Also since players wear masks in BB - the risk of team to team spread is reduced.johnnyangryfuzzball wrote: ↑Tue Sep 29, 2020 8:20 pmThere was a point where I was almost certain MLB was going to pull the plug on their season—but they eventually stopped having outbreaks and finished their regular season without incident.

And they all played 60 games too, other than Detroit and St. Louis, who would have played a doubleheader Monday if needed (games 59 and 60).
In the meantime, postponing a game, so what? Like it's never happened before. Hell all the Baylor players think that their games were being canceled cause no one wants to play them, same with Houston. They're doing what they need to do.

Shooting for Mon/Tuesday. I hope Tuesday. One thing - Cam won't be sick in Jan
Ironically NE had a BAD flu last year against Texans and took two planes to Houston for that game to avoid it spreading and then played KC at home and they were still shaken up. I'm pretty sure players missed both games for NE. And it was listed as a Strange virus...
But team still played....

>>Seven #Patriots players, all starters, were listed as questionable with illnesses, from flu to cold to anyth<<ing in between. While things seem to be trending in the right direction & most or all should play, this was as challenging a week as one can imagine in NE. Worth watching.

The plague couldn’t have struck the locker room at a worse time for the Patriots, who are just one game ahead of the Baltimore Ravens for first place in the AFC.<<
