In talking to players they are hearing plenty of murmurs, but there is nothing concrete. Coaches are on edge waiting for some hard news, especially with the NFL season getting going. They want to get back to work.

Still no sign of the league calling anyone back, despite any rumor saying they have. This fact has been confirmed through the league head office.

Has there been any guidance provided on what and when the league's next (first for 2021 season) steps are?

I am told there is a plan coming, but not one hint as to the nature of the plan. The word "exciting" was uttered by XFL head office, but nothing else of any substance.

Someone here pointed out that the new owners would not have invested in the league if they didn't have a plan. Maybe the extent of the plan was "24/7 - 365 days of the year" and nothing beyond that thought. I hope not. Considering everything "Seven Bucks" already has on the slate I wonder how they have time for another "production."
