A lot of things can change in 8 weeks. Heck, look how much it's changed in 8 DAYS. Let's hope.

This recommendation does not apply to the day to day operation of organizations such as schools, institutes of higher learning, or businesses.
Are professional sports leagues not businesses?

The press release from the CDC says sporting events.

If it gets better great, but it's likely to get worse as more people are going to get tested.

Let's face it the chances of a post season for the XFL is none. It's not going to happen. Let's focus on the offseason and next year.

Yeah, in the context of the spectators attending. Not the sporting event itself.

If the NBA and NHL decide to start The playoffs in empty arenas, in baseball starts the season in empty stadiums, then I don’t see why the XFL wouldn’t at least like to hold a championship game.

Just one game, no playoffs. Defenders vs roughnecks.
You spelled BattleHawks incorrectly

They said no events over 50 people. An XFL game with no fans would include both rosters, which would be over 100, plus coaches on both sidelines, announce crew and stadium security.

If there aren't spectators, it's not an in-person event. It's a business producing its product, which they said was exempt.

We've literally come full circle, so we can agree to disagree. Regardless, there will surely be new guidance when the time comes.

At this point very very unlikely. But if things open up in May and NBA is on hiatus likely till mid-June and NHL may be too ... then TV may be looking for something to put on tv. Since the players are under contract through May, its possible.

Unlikely... Sure, absolutely. But this whole Coronavirus is unprecedented - who knows.
