They go on sale tomorrow. That's what I got from the BattleHawk's e-mail a yesterday. So we will see what the price is. They could just put the current cheap seat price on them. I know when the idea first came up, they had to figure out the pricing and knowing they additions Dome staff that would be needed to cover it. We will see in the morning what they do and if it even all the upper deck or select areas.ozzies09tc wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 8:11 pmThe way I would go about it is, tell fans once the lower bowl is sold out, then the "cheap tix" will open the upper bowljohnnyangryfuzzball wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 8:02 pmThat, and there's a concern that opening up that section as "cheap seats" would devalue the lower bowl seats that the XFL wants filled to capacity so that it looks better on TV. They might be better off charging a higher price for the nosebleeds to maintain the scarcity.ozzies09tc wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 7:04 pm
The only issue is, will $10 tix make up for the salaries you are paying the stand workers and custodial people to clean the extra bathrooms etc

Tickets are flying off the board. You can watch them disappear!

Looks like the upper home side sideline is what was opened and going fast. So pricing is very upper level $15, $24 for the lower rows of the upper. I can't recall if this counts as a new level as well. The first section up from the bowl. the 300s is $42

This story shows how much of a mistake it was to place seven of the eight XFL teams in NFL cities. The type of ticket demand in St. Louis could have been league-wide.

At this point, there's only about a dozen $15 seats left!

Blame Charlie Ebersol for that (at least three anyway), not McMahon/Luck. This notion that some posters have that the league was just supposed to wait for the AAF to die off and then announce cities nine months before kickoff, yeah good luck with that...................MidwestJimmy wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 11:44 am This story shows how much of a mistake it was to place seven of the eight XFL teams in NFL cities. There is no one to blame at all.... XFL is in big cities for TV viewers period. They would not be in San Diego or San Antonio which are much smaller (tv viewers) than the cities that you mentioned. Orlando is the one exception. While TB is slightly bigger, Orlando is 90% the TV market as TB and is starved for Pro sports.MGB01 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 12:02 pmBlame Charlie Ebersol for that (at least three anyway), not McMahon/Luck. SA is 40% the size of Houston and 35% the size of Dallas, SD is 20% the size of LA - again TV market size.
The AAF was a shame and could have been better planned. But XFL was all in with a plan of TV viewership as priorty 1,2 and 3.
BTW Houston opened up more sections too it appears.

Re: Battlehawks to open upper deck!!
Upper deck sold out and only on resale now at 50 a piece at the cheapest. Still some 36 dollar tickets in the level down.
The truth is AAF almost was in St. Louis but there was issues with dates at the Dome itself that didn't allow it. However the AAF wasn't ready like the XFL was, the foundation side of things that Luck spend 2 years putting together wasn't there, the AAF was like building a house of a foundation before the concrete dried. XFL spend two year doing all of that, and it showing at this point. I mean at this time in the AAF season there was the talks of the money issues coming about and the troubles. The XFL still keeping positive news out there. The only issue really had been TV ratings.4th&long wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 12:14 pmThere is no one to blame at all.... Re: Battlehawks to open upper deck!!
I can see that happening. I think we are going to see the biggest crowd for spring league football looking back into the AAF and we know what the XFL has done. I think the biggest is 30,000 late in the AAF season for San Antonio. Not sure what the biggest was for the first XFL.Metallifreak10 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 12:47 pm Wow, those sold fast.
