Re: Coronavirus & XFL
Just think trying to vet a new venue on a few days notice could be a mess. As much of a logistical nightmare as it would be it might be safer to give LA the game this week and start making plans for week 7 in a stadium outside of Seattle.GDAWG wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 12:20 amI have no idea. We don't know how long this ban is going to last. It could affect the remainder of Seattle's home gamesXtremeFanForever wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 12:11 amHow practical would it be to switch games? Play in LA this week and play in Seattle in week 9?GDAWG wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2020 11:49 pm The Dragons will lose a home game:

They will have to quickly find a neutral site to play. Sacramento, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Denver, Salt Lake City, San Diego, etc.

The other option is to move the game to LA. Remember, this is a division game so they still have another match against the Wildcats later in the season, which they can then reschedule for Seattle in the hopes that the virus is contained or has run its course by then. It will at least buy some time.XtremeFanForever wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 4:28 amJust think trying to vet a new venue on a few days notice could be a mess. I have read that seems unlikely and this could also affect the NCAA and NFL seasons. I find that hard to believe, but who knows.johnnyangryfuzzball wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 9:32 amThe other option is to move the game to LA. Update:
They've decided to play in an empty stadium. What a flipping waste.
