Seems like he might be tired of the constant rotation of qb’s, but who knows. Not good for TB either way

Re: Report: Quinton Flowers requests release from Tampa Bay Vipers
IMO He's way too over hyped...
I honestly think Corndog will have a great game this weekend with having to worry about coach subbing him out or the crowd yelling to put in flowers... he is the obvious better qb of the 2.
Flowers is no Lamar Jackson.. .he is no PJ Walker.... his throws seem to be to soft and inaccurate.
Don't think any team would actually trade for him either... he should ride it out and just focusing on developing and be ready when his name is called for whatever situation it is.

Think he'd be willing to go to New York or Seattle? He'd have to battle for the position either way.

He'd be 3rd on either depth chart.. same as Tampa .. I don't see him beating out either QBs on their current rostersXtremeFanForever wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 12:48 pm Think he'd be willing to go to New York or Seattle? He'd have to battle for the position either way.

I don’t blame him for leaving. Trestman is a Moron now I know what all these Bears fans are talking about now!

Which doesn't say much for the Bears given that Lovie Smith was doing a fine job, so firing him for Trestman will fall somewhere between firing Pete Carroll for Rich Kotite, Marty Schottenheimer for Norv Turner, and Andy Reid for Chip Kelly on the all-time dumbassity scale.

I don't know if I can put the blame on Trestman... Vipers are 2nd in total yard .. and if you watch their games they move the ball but struggle in the red zone.
I do agree the 4 and out in the red zone should've been flowers but with Corndog punching it in for the TD previously they felt they had to let him finish it. They should've played more to the run.
All in all I expect the Vipers to surprise a lot of people this weekend.

Agreed. TB was close last week. You can really feel how close they are. I wish Truesdale was playing this weekend, but I think the franchise gets its first win Sunday night.Xtremedb3 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 3:24 pm I don't know if I can put the blame on Trestman... Maybe Q leaving will end up being addition by subtraction.
