Not what the XFL intended, but it's been an exciting game anyway, so not that huge of a loss.

Yep it’s going to be close but this isn’t unprecedented. Had a game the first weekend that went over the time allotment as well. They need to do a better job at getting the game started right at 1 instead of 1:10-1:15

Tampa Bay definitely improved this time around. We'll see how LA and NY play this week, but even with the loss the Vipers might earn a little bump in my power rankings. (If they'd played this week as badly as the last two, I'd've dropped them below Team 9!)

The Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg area does not support the Rays (14k on average) or Buccaneers (59k on average) very well but they showed up for the Tampa Bay Vipers today. You have to keep in mind Raymond James Stadium holds 65,890 fans.

The Vipers had 18,117 in attendance for their first home game.

I will be surprised if PJ Walker and Cam Phillips don't sign with NFL teams at the conclusion of the XFL season. Both should at least be in NFL Training camps.
