SJ Green traded to Tampa for Korey Toomer

SJ Green is officially with the XFL as he was traded from the Dragons to the Vipers for the rights of linebacker Korey Toomer, a vet linebacker. This is a big trade for both teams as Green provides a much needed boost for the Vipers lackluster passing game and Toomer provides veteran experience at linebacker for the Dragons. Toomer, a former Seahawk, spent last season in the CFL so that adds to the list of players the XFL has poached from Canada.

Do the Dragons just claim everybody off the waiver wires and try to use them as trade bait? I feel like they've done this before.

According to Mike Mitchell. SJ Green didn’t want to be claimed by Seattle and had no intention of playing for them.
