Re: Week 2 Attendance
A few weeks ago I was worried LA would fail to draw 10,000, so almost 15,000 isn’t bad.

Pretty solid numbers. Glad to see consistency. Many of the AAF teams drew 10k or less.

Re: Week 2 Attendance
I actually was pleasantly surprised by the L.A. turnout. Although I ran into a USA today article featuring shots of the roughly half filled venue kinda with a "I told you so" vibe. You're gonna get that....it's not like the Galaxy fill the place either. It was an exciting game that was in doubt, once again with the losing team having that "comeback period" to stage a late miracle ....didn't happen for the Cats this time ...but I would hope L.A. gives them the benefit of the doubt despite being 0-2.
The AFL of 1960 averaged in the 16,000 area for it's first year. If that's to be seen as a example.....it's a pretty good one.

Seattle at close to 30K is fantastic. St. Louis, from what I have heard, should be around 28K. Also fantastic. How is Tampa going to do this week? The Tampa Bay Bandits were one of the most successful teams in the old USLF.

I would say higher for St. Louis. They sold out the tickets that they released. Everything is all resale now. So the XFL as a league already got there cut and that what they go off of is what was sold. I just looked the cheapest seat is $75 which not many of them out there and it goes up to $300. Which the XFL pricing the highest is $108.Sacramento XFL wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2020 5:48 pm Seattle at close to 30K is fantastic. St. Louis, from what I have heard, should be around 28K. During the FS1 XFL Sunday game the announcers said St Louis was sold out (28k ).steinerfhc wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2020 5:55 pmI would say higher for St. Louis. Re: Week 2 Attendance
Wasn't sure how much the open bowl held since upper levels where not released. I heard a rumor of 33,000 somewhere last week so wasn't sure. 28K it is which is good, I mean sell out is a sell out.4th&long wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2020 6:12 pmDuring the FS1 XFL Sunday game the announcers said St Louis was sold out (28k ).steinerfhc wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2020 5:55 pmI would say higher for St. Louis. Re: Week 2 Attendance
I read that they could have sold more but decided to not open the upper deck(s) and settled for the 28k. I guess they know what's best but it would be interesting to know how many more tickets they could have sold. The maximum I believe is 38k and it's cost $800k to rent for the season so I wonder how much they will take over the home games.
