More positivity in media coverage for Renegades

The Fox Affiliate, KDFW 4 in Dallas has been very positive about the XFL, but so has a channel that is on a network that is not one of the XFL's TV Partners: KXAS 5, the NBC affiliate. Over the past few days, the Renegades have been getting brief mentions by NBC 5. Sports director Newy Scruggs talked about it on Thursday briefly, and did say that he liked the Renegades helmets. Pat Doney just did an XFL brief on NBC 5 as well, and he says that he is happy that there will be more football after the NFL after he showed a clip of an interview he did with Bob Stoops at Globe Life Park. It was one of two Renegades segments on NBC 5 tonight.

So far it's Fox 4, NBC 5 and on the radio side, Sports Radio 1310 the Ticket that has been super positive about the XFL and the Dallas Renegades. Sure, Texas being a football obsessed does help, but I think that Bob Stoops plays a huge factor in the success the Renegades have been getting from the media. I don't know about Channel 8, the ABC affiliate or Channel 11 or even 103.3 ESPN or 105.3 The Fan about the XFL.
