I'm still keeping track of XFL.com rosters via spreadsheet. The rosters are timestamped 1/14, but I just got to it.
There are players missing from rosters that do not appear on the transactions page.
Players Missing:
Guardians, Demarcus Ayers, WR, Houston
BattleHawks, Daniel Braverman, WR, Western Michigan
Good work! We have seen this before, where the transactions weren’t advertised, or the posted roster wasn’t completely accurate. I had hoped the league had gotten better at this, but you make a counterpoint for that idea.
I remember the team posting somewhere that Daniel Braverman got hurt.Don’t remember the details but it sounded like he would miss an extended period. That could explain his disappearance.
Are these players injured maybe? For the BattleHawks, Braverman and Watson were both put on IR a while ago. So were Khyri Thornton and Kevin Bowen, and none of them are listed on the roster anymore.
Ayers and Damon Sheehy got released by the Guardians and New York listed it in their team reports during the first week of training camp. Mike Mitchell also had it in his recent Guardians article.
We are a week away from cutdown day. Hopefully there isn’t a lot of confusion then. There will be 144 players cut in total. Give or take a few, depending on what players go on injured reserve.

That's alot of players -18 per team. Is that the 'final' cut?
No The Final Cut was a Roger Waters album penned as Pink Floyd for legal reasons.............(ok I'll see myself out)
I don't think there's any such thing as a final cut, just a roster deadline to hold to, fact whenever roster day is (whether the day before or after the Super Bowl) you'll see moves even then, just as long as they have a corresponding move to keep at 52.

LOL, understood they will be cutting and replacing players - but after this cut at they at 52? Is that the end # to start season?
