Just an update on those practice squad players who did not sign futures contracts:

DE Dewayne Hendrix (Jacksonville) was claimed by the BattleHawks
RB James Butler (Oakland) was claimed by the Roughnecks
WR De'Mornay Pierson-El (Oakland), drafted by the BattleHawks, has now been added to their active roster
RB De'Angelo Henderson (Eagles) was claimed by the Roughnecks
QB Chad Kanoff (Bucs) was claimed by the Guardians
WR Saeed Blacknall (Cardinals), drafted by the Wildcats, is now on their active roster
QB Joe Callahan (Lions), drafted by the Dragons, is now on their active roster
LB Reshard Cliett (Vikings), drafted by the Renegades, is now on their active roster
G Kahlil McKenzie (Seahawks), was claimed by Defenders then traded to Wildcats
TE Wes Saxton (Seahawks), drafted by BattleHawks, has now been added to their active roster
DT Greg Gilmore (Panthers) was claimed by the Roughnecks
DT JoJo Wicker (Redskins) was claimed by BattleHawks

Awesome. Those are some good players too. Good to El come back and not take a futures deal. Blacknall is very talented. Clinkscales had him with the Raiders.

Roughnecks strengthened their backfield. Butler and Henderson are talented runners.

An under the radar player for Houston is Nick Holley. If he makes the team. He is going to be the ultimate gadget player. He was a good all purpose player at Kent State, playing QB, RB and WR. He was an All-Mac 5’10 Quarterback. Holley is Danny Woodhead but he can throw the ball.

It’s up to the XFL teams. There have already been player injuries since minicamp and now into training camp. It sucks not getting into training camp and the joint practices. Even if you don’t make your own teams roster. You can make a strong enough impression on another staff.

If you live in Texas. I would suggest an agent pushing hard to be a part of Team Nine. You are one step away from being on an active roster if you get on that team.

Bumped to add updates to those who did not sign futures contracts but are now in the XFL, and adding practice squads from this weekend's losing teams.

Bumped for finality-ish. All teams' practice squads listed, awaiting now the Chiefs and 49ers futures signings. Practice squad players who didn't sign futures contracts and ended up in the XFL can be found in the first post on page four of this thread.

So the signing period for futures contracts has ended. With all XFL team acquisitions having to come through Team Nine after week one, we've probably seen the end of players being claimed who were not signed to futures contracts (though those still not signed could always help replenish Team Nine). The final tally is 11 players who ended the season on NFL practice squads were acquired by XFL teams; five were originally drafted by XFL teams, six were not.
