I hear ya. I do love watchdogs over the metropolis for the Guardians during their identity video. It’s like each team has a theme and it’s been enforced, reinforced and then reinforced again.
I prefer watchdogs over the metropolis or The First Line of Defense rather than “On Duty”. The 10 year old part of me is too immature to embrace that tag line.

LA really doesn't have one, so I haven't been annoyed with them.

I've never even seen the LA Wildcats use the "Wildcat Way" term once. The Renegades and Guardians are using their slogans a lot though.
