Thanks—was considering starting a thread on the topic myself.

Really hoping the XFL can land some of the bigger named Free Agents. I’d like to see the talent level a bit higher than the AAFs

Derron Smith. The safety for the Commanders was also cut. Charles Johnson, The Apollos receiver is injured and sounds like he will be released by The Eagles with an injury settlement.

Terell Pryor is a name I haven't heard.

Jordan Ta'amu too.

Add them to the QB mix...

Brandon Marshall? :)

I agree. The XFL will be in contact with players who were cut all weekend. Invites will be extended this weekend to players and agents through correspondence and verbally. They are not going to be made public.

There’s an outside chance that we hear of a top tier signing or two in the next week or so but even those may be closer to the draft. Those are the only real players that will be signed to contracts.

When the dust settles. The number is really 864. That’s the number of players on the outside looking in. No roster or practice squad spot.

The CFL may also be looking for players to fill roster spots due to injuries.

Paxton Lynch is officially released by The Seahawks. The question now is, If Lynch clears waivers, Does he land on Seattle or another teams practice squad or will Lynch entertain the XFL’s overtures?

Does he even have practice squad eligibility left? (Serious question.) He's had three years on an active roster at this point. Besides, as high as he was drafted, he might find it beneath him.
