As some have pointed out. XFL St. Louis may also be tipping their hand as far as their team colors. I like the Dallas color combo. Not so sure about that viper. If it is in fact a Viper.

The league's color scheme is Red White and Blue so I wouldn't put much stock in speculation about the team's colors.

Yeah, those are the exact same shades as the XFL logo's color scheme. I think this is a nothingburger.

Yeah, those are the exact same shades as the XFL logo's color scheme. I think this is a nothingburger.

You are probably right about the STL thing but the two teased logos are not really XFL color schemes. There is some red white and blue but different shades of it and whatever letter that is, certainly has silver or grey incorporated in it. The "red eye" certainly has two Oiler colors for sure. That Oiler Blue is prevalent. It doesn't mean that it is Houston but since we are just bsing and speculating. It's possible. Especially since Oliver Luck hinted that the Houston team would have a hint of Oiler colors in it. The same way he used Oiler Blue as an accent color in the Dynamo logo.

I would be cool with either name. My initial thought is the eye of a viper but it could be something else. There are several animals or creatures that either have red eyes or get the red eye depiction. I instantly think of Snakes but it could be wolves, cats or even a mythical creatures like a Dragon

Talk about timing and not so much is a great way. Being that the MLS St. Louis announcement is on the same day. So from a media stand point not sure how all of this will play but a lot to talk about in sports Tuesday into Wednesday.
