The injury that Rourke has is a long term ailment. Props to him for wanting to come back so quickly, but he's better off shutting it down and let the injury heal.

I'd like to see what fellow Canadian and backup Michael O'Connor has since he is now a the number one starter.

Rourke is starting this week and is expected to play one quarter. Hopefully he will be okay for the playoffs!

The BC Lions are better off going with Vernon Adams for the entire post-season. Just shut down Rourke and try to re-sign him on a long term extension

I couldn't disagree more. If Rourke can't do any more damage to his foot, he gives the Lions the best chance to win. I'm a huge VA fan but there is no debate who is the better option.

Rourke won't run as fast before the injury, won't be as mobile behind the O-line, which made the O-Line look better. McAvoy paid a first to get Adams, might as well get your money's worth by playing Adams

We will see how Rourke plays today in the semi-final. I am willing to bet he is not even close to 100% and I hope he doesn't re-injure himself.
Fan of the XFL from the beginning. You may remember me from the original XFLboard.

Rourke played well, but he was hiding his limp very well. But the Bombers D will dominate him in the Western Final

I hope the Bomber D comes to play, which won't bode well for Rourke. Calgary's D sacked him quite often, but Rourke managed to put up over 300 yards and no interceptions for the win showing he still has all the tricks he had before the injury. Will be a good game this Sunday.
